Cairns’ original half day tubing tours operate in two of the best rainforest locations in town, Behana Gorge and the Mulgrave River. We’ll pick the best one to maximize your fun, pending conditions at the time of travel.
Tubing is a fun, safe water activity, which combines adventure and action, set amongst towering trees, on freshwater streams.
Behana Gorge is billed as a locals’ secret, it’s where we come to play and get away. Think stunning natural rainforest, an arching canopy of trees and gently tumbling cold waters and you’re almost there. The Mulgrave River provides small, fun rapids and a lovely natural backdrop.
The half day rainforest tubing tours depart Cairns daily and provide approximately two (2) hours of tubing fun. Fully supervised, with a minimum of two (2) guides on the water, all equipment and instruction is provided. This is a fun, safe water activity conducted on professional, high quality, twin chamber tubes. Suitable for people of all experience levels, aged between 5 and 70 years old. No previous tubing experience necessary.
What can you expect? To spend a delightful couple of hours floating gently down a pristine, rainforest stream soaking in the sights, sounds and smells of the natural beauty that surround you. This is the perfect way to cool down and really immerse yourself in Cairns’ rainforest environment and experience. A little bit of action, a little bit of adventure and a whole lot of good times!

Timing
Tour departures may vary between AM & PM. We usually schedule an AM departure but will run a PM trip pending demand and time of year.
Pick Up 7.45am – Return 12pm
Pick Up 1.45pm – Return 6pm
