Cooktown Tours

Adventure North Australia’s Cooktown tours visit the historic township of Cooktown, the site of Captain Cook’s 1770 landing. Travel through fascinating and diverse landscapes along the scenic Daintree Coast and Rainforest. Experience the 4WD-only Bloomfield Track, the site of one of Australia’s most significant environmental protests that eventually had the region declared World Heritage in 1988. Experience the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation where the Great Barrier Reef meets the Rainforest and two UNESCO World Heritage-listed sites exists side by side. Return travel from Cooktown is through the open spaces of the Outback in Far North Queensland following the Great Dividing Range.

Reef & Rainforest Packages

The only place in the world where two UNESCO World Heritage-listed sites exist side by side, the Daintree Coast is hugged on one side by the Great Barrier Reef and the other by the Daintree Rainforest National Park.
